Cardiff Metropolitan University approached us to create a visual identity for their entrepreneurship department, The Centre for Entrepreneurship. The challenge was to develop a brand that felt clearly connected to the wider Cardiff Met identity system, while still giving the department its own distinct presence and personality.




The Brief
Working closely within the university’s existing brand guidelines, we developed a flexible sub-brand identity and logo system that felt instantly recognisable as part of the wider Cardiff Met ecosystem, while still giving The Centre for Entrepreneurship its own distinct voice. The identity needed to balance consistency and individuality – feeling professional, established and aligned with the university, without becoming overly corporate or losing its sense of energy and ambition. The result was a cohesive visual system designed to work seamlessly across both digital and print applications, giving the department a clearer presence while remaining unmistakably connected to the Cardiff Met brand.
